Douglas Carvalho Alves is a distinguished Brazilian professional MMA fighter with an impressive array of martial arts credentials. He holds 1st Dan black belts in kickboxing, Muay Thai, Luta Livre Esportiva, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he is also an amateur boxer. His professional achievements are notable, including being a former Middleweight Title Challenger in the BRAVE Combat Federation. Douglas is a champion in various disciplines, having secured titles such as the Brazilian Boxing and Beach Boxing Champion for FEBERJ and FEBOP, the South American and Brazilian Boxing Champion and K-1 World Champion by Isca Europe, the Brazilian Heavyweight Boxing Champion (Claudio Coelho Cup), and the World, South American, and Brazilian Champion of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Luta-Livre Esportiva by CBJJD and Champion of RISC. Additionally, he is the World Light Heavyweight Champion of SFL, the Middleweight Champion of Xerem Fight, and a two-time Middleweight Champion of Combat Saw.

Beyond his competitive success, Douglas has contributed significantly to his community through volunteering in social projects for low-income communities in the Favelas do Complexo do Alemão, where he has offered group classes for kids in martial arts. His expertise also extends to professional roles as a martial arts and self-defense instructor for BOPE (Batalhão de Operações Especiais), the Battalion of Special Operations of the military police of Rio de Janeiro (PMRJ).
