I’m sure they are great to raise money for their charity to spread “Martial Arts” to the Slums of the world. Very admirable. But developing “Character & confidence to kids” - don’t think so. Especially when they hosted their Gulf Championship exhibition event over the weekend. Utter shambles. Also not encouraging or developing confidence to my 9 year old who was Put against a kid double his size. Different belts. And it wasn’t for the final showdown/category. It was the initial sparring session.
The call I received to discuss my experience and express how I felt in the competition show how much the academy tries to reach their highest levels and that our kids in a good hands in term of teaching them marshal arts.
The staff are all nice and accommodating. There’s a comfortable waiting area for the parents. The classes are kept small so they can better focus on the kids. Also my daughter loves her coach!

I joined the adult classes last year, and with Coach Anne, Master Leon's expert mentorship, have progressed 3 belts already. The discipline forces you to stay active and fit. The adult classes have an incredible cohort with an amazing camaraderie. Comes highly recommended.
The staff at Warrior Academy Dubai go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, from the instructors to the friendly faces in the cafe. A special mention to Wuney, who makes the most amazing coffees and chamomile teas for the parents waiting for their kids during classes. Wuney's warm and cheerful personality, combined with her perfect brews, really adds a special touch to the whole experience at the academy. It's these little details that make Warrior Academy feel like a community, not just a martial arts school.

A unique course in Al Quoz for the youngest members of your family, aged between two and three years. These students will have a great time with our martial arts classes, but they’ll also improve their fine motor skills, building self-confidence and self-reliance.
Designed for children aged four to six, this course brings fun with martial arts as children focus on flexibility and coordination, along with discipline and physical conditioning.
Our senior martial arts classes are ideal for students aged seven to nine, focusing on developing strength and confidence through a holistic approach to physical and mental well-being.
If your child is in their pre-teen years, they’ll benefit from the friendships and physical training that comes with our martial arts classes, while developing confidence and discovering their true potential at our Al Quoz dojo.
Helping teens aged 13 to 18 with balance, flexibility, coordination, confidence, and discipline, our teen martial arts classes focus on a holistic approach to character development.

Yes, we have a unique syllabus based around the ITF (International Taekwondo Federation) belt system, and regularly transition students from other styles to our belts, and our students who move on to other styles transition quickly. We are regulated by the WKF (World Karate Federation) and the UAE Karate Federation, meaning no matter where your child trains, their belt level will be recognised.
In our classes, your child is learning all of the important techniques to help them transition from our syllabus to ITF or WTF taekwondo, Muay Thai or even Karate. We have never had a student be turned away because of their belt, quite the opposite, our students are praised for how versatile they are and how quickly they pick up techniques compared to other styles.
When the Warrior Academy started, we were part of the ITF organisation. The challenge we found is that the strict rules and politics of the organisation restricted our ability to maximise the character development aspect of our programme. Martial arts is great, but developing your child’s character is what sets them up for a happy and successful life as an adult. Since we made this bold change, we have won countless awards for our programme and our transformations.
In WTF or ITF organisation’s it takes around 3-4 years on average to earn a black belt. In our programme, our students take on average 6-8 years. We are so confident in the quality of our black belts that we guarantee everyone who gets a black belt a job in our Academy.
Yes! We have run competitions for over a decade and have had incredible success with our students. Our programme has created over 50 national champions.
Yes! We have strong connections with multiple national teams around the world. In 2021, we worked closely with Team GB Taekwondo to help bring former athletes to the UAE to further their careers.
