- Groups capped at 13, with a monthly call with your child’s instructor
Jumeirah Islands questions
What families from the Marina, JLT and The Springs usually ask us.
Where is The Warrior Academy Jumeirah Islands?
We are in Jumeirah Heights, Jumeirah Islands, our flagship academy with three dojos and a community room. Call or WhatsApp us on 052 267 4280 and the team will help you find us and book a time.
Is it near Dubai Marina, JLT and The Springs?
Yes. It is a short drive from Jumeirah Park, The Springs, Emirates Hills, JLT and Dubai Marina, so it is an easy after-school run for families on that side of the city.
When is the Jumeirah Islands academy open?
Monday to Wednesday 11:30 to 20:30, Thursday 11:30 to 19:30, Friday 11:00 to 18:00, and Saturday and Sunday 08:00 to 19:00. Session times for each age group are in the timetable above.
What ages do you teach at Jumeirah Islands?
From age 2 to 18, grouped by age: Little Warriors (2 to 3), Junior Warriors (4 to 6), Senior Warriors (7 to 9), Pre Teens (10 to 12) and Teens (13+), plus family and adult programmes. Every programme is capped at 13 children, so the instructor knows your child’s name, belt and goals, and you get a one-to-one call with them every month.
Are the belts recognised?
Yes. Our gradings are regulated by the World Karate Federation and the UAE Karate Federation, so your child’s belt level is recognised wherever they train. Belts are earned through technique and behaviour, so every new belt means real progress.
How much does it cost, and how do we start?
Memberships start from AED 898 a month. New families start with a VIP Pass for AED 199: an introduction session, a Breakthrough Area Assessment of your child’s confidence, conduct and concentration, and a goal-setting call with their instructor. Claim your VIP Pass.
Do you welcome children with ADHD, autism or sensory differences?
Yes, and they train in our normal programmes alongside their friends. Families can visit before the first session, children can wear ear defenders, and there is a calm break space if they need a moment. See how we coach neurodivergent children.
Book a trial martial arts class near Dubai Marina and JLT
Choose The Warrior Academy, Jumeirah Islands
The Warrior Academy is one of the leading martial arts schools for kids in Dubai and the highest reviewed academy in the Middle East. In practice that means a class capped at 13 children, an instructor who knows your child’s name, and a one-to-one call with you every month. If you live in Jumeirah Park, Jumeirah Golf Estates, Discovery Gardens or Al Furjan, kids karate classes in Dubai don’t have to mean a trek across the city. Our family classes are open to parents and siblings too, so progress becomes something you share rather than something you wait in the car for.
Leading martial arts training programmes that help your child thrive
Kids martial arts near Dubai Marina and JLT, taught our way, develops physical and mental wellbeing together, in the same session. Here is what that means in practice.
Physical training
Strength, balance, and coordination come from drills drawn from karate, taekwondo, boxing and Muay Thai, never from one style alone. Our anti-bullying focus means every technique is taught as a way to end a situation calmly, not to win one.
Skill development
Self-defence follows our A.C.E system (Avoid, Control, Engage), live across every belt since January 2026. Younger children learn to escape a grab and create distance; older ones learn to hold and escape on the ground. Only advanced students learn to engage, so composure always comes before contact.
Mental development
Focus and self-control are practised every session as deliberately as any kick, and respect for everyone on the mat is the baseline. These are the habits that tend to show up at homework time as much as in the dojo.
Life experience
Belt progression in our kids karate classes gives your child a clear path of small wins, each one recognised beyond our dojos. Family classes are open to parents and siblings, so progress at home becomes a shared activity rather than a spectator sport.
